“Creating structure from chaos is the best part of UX Design”
Who am I?
-
UX Researcher & Designer
My skills lie between research and design, reflecting my analytical bent and science background. I have experience in design research, usability testing, information architecture, task analyses, user flows, and wireframing.
-
Scientist & Experimenter
With my science background, I can’t help but think about how the research data fits within the design. My hobbies also involve experimentation and iteration, which are shared traits of both rigorous science and usable design.
-
Artist & Creative
I enjoy other creative endeavors outside of UX. I enjoy the detailed creative and iterative work involved with baking various pastries. I also stay busy with various creative projects like as making tufted rugs or painting.
I have an eclectic mix of hobbies that keep me busy outside of UX work

FAQs
What is the best way to contact you?
I check LinkedIn daily, so if your message is time-sensitive, please reach out to me there.
Otherwise, I check my email on a weekly basis.
Are you available for freelance projects?
I don’t have much bandwidth for additional projects at the moment, but I’m open to talking about opportunities. Send me a LinkedIn message and let’s chat.
Would you consider doing pro-bono work?
No, sorry. I will politely ignore all inquiries about free work.
Did you do something before becoming a UX Designer?
Yes! I worked as a geologist in the oil and gas industry collaborating with petroleum engineers to create 3D reservoir models. I’ve also worked as a Diamond Grader. Ask me about rocks or gems, and I might talk your ear off.
Are you available for full time positions?
I’m open to new opportunities. Send me a LinkedIn message and let’s chat.
Should you contact me for senior level UX roles?
If you’re looking for someone to lead or start up a UX department, I’m not your candidate. I do have over a year and a half of UX experience via freelancing and working with small UX agencies for clients.
